3 Ways to Love Yourself More

As I point out in my book “Before You Love Again,” we all have the power to create a life full of love. We have that power because we embody love. “We are the love we are seeking from someone else”.


But how do we get in touch with that love? How do we take control of that power? Here are three ways to love yourself – even just a little bit more.

  1. Make your health and wellness a priority. There is undeniable confidence and happiness that comes along with feeling good about yourself and the way that you look. If you are not feeling satisfied with your body image or find yourself suffering from health conditions that may damper your mood, the best thing you can do for yourself is try to change it. Seeing a holistic nutritionist who can make sure you’re eating right and learning what physical exercises you enjoy are all ways to achieve this. Learn to enjoy preparing foods that will make you feel good on the inside and out. Discover new methods of healing your mind and body that will make you happy.
  2. Get in touch with your passions. When we were young it was our job to discover our favorite things about life. We could paint, read, play – but as adults our lives are filled with so much duty and responsibility. It’s easy to lose touch with the things we really enjoy!
